Max Frey

Max Frey (1874 - 1944) was active/lived in Germany.  Max Frey is known for Painting.

Max Frey was born near Karlsruhe.  There he attended the Arts and Crafts School.  From 1893 to 1903 he was at the Art Academy Karlsruhe.  Amongst his teachers were such renowned artists like Ferdinand Keller and Leopold von Kalckreuth.

In 1904 he lived for a year in Frankfurt and worked as a painter.  In 1906 he accepted a position at the Academy for Arts and Crafts in Dresden. There he also received his professor degree in 1910.  At the beginning he held classes in art design, later also in landscape painting.
